2. Mittens and hat in the morning
   Boots in snow up to your knees
   Spring is what you imagine
   as the white stuff off your car you’re brushing
   By noon your clothes you’re shedding
   and the sun is high in the blue sky
   Trees are budding
   Tulips are blooming
   even the brown grass is turning
   a few blades are finally green
   too bad Moe and Zoe were in the mood
   for something green……..
